Open Savannah.

Rolling grassy expanses of hillops with epic views of the surrounding areas, lake and islands are a prime attraction. Ideal for campouts and setting up for a night under the stars and open sky, hiking, games, photoshoots, time alone and more.

Waterfall.

Hidden away in the middle of our lush tropical forest is yet another of the crown gems of Musana camps. A beautiful waterfall tucked away and yet readily accessible through a short 20min hike. The cool clear water rushes over the rocky cliffs and provides one a rare opportunity to actually stand in the cascading torrent for epic photos or refreshment after the hike.

Private Beach.

One of the gems of Musana Camps is our private white sand beach, providing guests with a secluded space to relax, play, and enjoy the lake. Whether you’re looking to swim, sunbathe, go fishing, canoeing or simply stroll along the shoreline, the beach offers a peaceful escape with soft sands and gentle waves. In the evenings, the beach becomes the perfect spot for campfires and stargazing, where guests can gather, share stories, and appreciate the beauty of the night sky.

Wildlife.

For animal lovers and the curious naturalist, Musana serves as a habitat for a variety of local animal species as well as a mindblowing over 140 unique bird species. You are likely to spot red-tail and vervet monkeys frolicking in the trees in the evenings and might be lucky to catch a duiker or two as well. Squirrels, mongoose, pangolin and many others safely inhabit the wide variety of vegetation and terrain here. Our trained program staff are always on hand to guide in case you desire an encounter.
